Awooga Guy actually had a copy of this before he started kendo, and it's brilliant http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif The cartoonist set up his own company and got it published independently. It's a great read and you can also buy it from Nine Circles http://www.ninecircles.co.uk

Awooga Guy recommends that you all check it out http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif

That is all.

In the style of Awooga Guy, ScottUK concurs with all. Excellent book.

We bump into Dave Whiteland (Fudebakudo artist/author) once a year - quite the funny guy - he bakes nice shuriken too... http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/biggrin.gif

Cheers, my company will forward an invoice for the time I have lost on this today. Very, very funny.

Cersdog 04-28-2006 07:27 AM

Have y'all tried Fudebakudo's budo quiz? Post your results on here...!

VINPELA 04-28-2006 07:31 AM

And while I'm in here, I find it very disturbing when people refer to themselves in the third person. Not sure you guys should be allowed access to plastic teaspoons, let alone threeandahalffoot bamboo sticks.

aNoBVsUW 04-28-2006 07:36 AM

Hehe, better a 'third person' than a southern monkey...! http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/biggrin.gif

If everybody makes 21+, we can beat these karate guys !

wllsqyuipknczx 04-28-2006 08:16 AM

heh heh - shuriken! I honestly thought of having those as wedding favours instead of sugared amonds, but i got told otherwise!!

heh heh, southern monkey! OOP THE NORTHERNERS! (and yes I am northern... yorkshire in fact, just living in the midlands... the characterless void that is Nottingham!!)

isogeople 04-28-2006 08:28 AM

Sorry if that didn't present in the jocular way it was intended. Its just that most persons I have met who refer to themselves using their own names are either under nine years old or mentally unstable. As far as I am aware, these characteristics are not affected by geographical location.

Though, let's face it, being from up north can't exactly help a person can it! I mean... all those comedy accents and everything! Aren't e-budo based in Yorkshire?

http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/tongue.gif !!!!!!

gundorana 04-28-2006 08:37 AM

Don't worry - no-one took you serious, being a sutherner and all... http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/biggrin.gif

E-Budo's based in Texas - close but no cigar. Or stetson. Or cowboy boots etc. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif

Thomas12400 04-28-2006 10:00 AM

Bear took the quiz, results come out as 15 points as well http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/nervous.gif

And the English royal family. Well, I guess they fall into the second category.

Actually they are of mainly German extraction and are the BRITISH royal family. Nonetheless your observation is probably correct.....

Now stay out of it if your don't want your independence revoked!

parishilton 04-29-2006 03:10 AM

NOOOOOOOOOOOO....!

Let them keep it. Last thing we want is the Americans returning 'home'... http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/biggrin.gif

COMEDY ACCENTS?? Thar's nowt wrong wi me accent la! http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/grin.gif

i thought e-budo was midlands, but 'm probably wrong... i think county durham is in ireland... on way back from newcastle fel asleep and woke up thinking we were near belfast!! (and before anyone asks, yes i am blonde!!)

And as for the royals, yes they are german... the less said the better! I spent six torturous years studying the damn language!

Last I heard Ireland was part of the british isles and they ain't the royal family there (soon the northern counties will be part of the free world too)

aAaBecker 04-29-2006 05:00 AM

As far as i'm concerned, yorkshire should be an independant country... anyone with me to start an independance movement?
