Sorry guys, i just know by now your really sick of me asking questions about America, i promise this is the last!
You know how i want to get my diploma here then go to Conway, SC and get my A&P license, well i just wondered if any of you guys knew or could give me some ideas on some places that may be ideal. Im looking to go in 1 year, so it would need to be somewhere warm, no crime, no city, nice places to eat and drink just a nice town or village but with pleanty to do and absolutely no poverty. Im not looking for exact states, maybe even places that you would recommend, i liked Florida but i heard theres hurricanes there alot so ![]() Thanks all. |

Here's a city that will fit the bill of your specifications exactly.
I should know, I grew up there...many moons ago that is! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valencia,_California warm climate + no crime + no city + nice places to eat and drink + plenty to do + no poverty =Valencia....(plus it's 40 minutes from the pacific ocean!) Valencia is in the Santa Clarita Valley, which was rated this year (and many past years) as one of the best places to live in the US. http://money.cnn.com/magazines/money...PL0669088.html |

Well Cary North Carolina comes in at #5 on the Money Mag list (Santa Clarita btw is #18 and as most cities in the coastal strip of Cali are way expensive... yes I am from San Diego originally and have lived in many parts of Cali). It's not a bad town. But realistically there is no place where there is no crime, thats affordable, and has a nice climate etc etc. Most smaller towns don't have as much culturally going on as bigger towns also, but med size towns such as Cary that are near to larger cities are a good compromise. Other nice places but that have harsher weather at times are parts of Arizona and New Mexico, but there you don't have to worry about hurricanes.

Hold on...let's look at the requirements:
1) somewhere warm: Check 2) no crime: Hmmm...JP-II got shot there once. 3) no city: Nuthin' but city. Nice city, but City nonetheless. 4) nice places to eat: Check 5) ...and drink: Officially? If you like your wine, you're in like Flint. 6) just a nice town or village: Check. Guards have halberds and MP-10's, gotta like that. 7) ...with pleanty to do: Youbetcha. Office of Readings, Lauds, Terce, Sext, Vespers... 8) absolutely no poverty: In a city of priests and nuns? |

"...so it would need to be somewhere warm, no crime, no city, nice places to eat and drink just a nice town or village but with pleanty to do and absolutely no poverty."
Find this town for real and I will buy a home there in a heartbeat! Keep in mind that you will need to have some proximity to a city to have access to more of the "plenty to do" and "places to eat and drink" categories. I've been to a lot of places in the US. I even just drove cross country and these categories don't all happen at the same time. There are trade offs. I really recommend finding a place that is within an hour of a major city. You can get the suburb feeling, but have all the STUFF that the city offers. |

youre looking for a place to live near Conway, SC? Also, i meant very little crime not like major cities endure i.e New Orleans. Im looking for a nice town or suburb near a city (20) miles most. I dont know anything about Mississippi though... |
