I don't think that his Kendo is complete pants, and I guess that "pants" is referring to something negative. I had the distinct honor to be part of his team during the Kodokan seminar last year, and we all did our best but he won all his matches and was very helpful and a nice fellow all round. So I think that I will have disagree with you there. Can't remember how his hiki waza was by the way because he was so fast.

This is NOT a joke. After much deliberation, we have decided to print T-shirts with the following slogans:
UCL Kendo Club - We Hate Gibbo and UCL Kendo Club - Breaking Hearts and Faces Taking orders now! We're thinking of putting japanese translation on the back: Gibbo ga daikirai... we couldn't really figure out the equivalent of the other one that conveyed the same meaning. All his idea, the man is a monster. |

It's awful quiet here, I suppose that Gibbo is now on friendly terms with the rest of the world. He did however struck back at the resident Bad Boy Hai Hai. So that would make him a good guy I suppose.

I was defending this person. There is nothing wrong with that. I did not know it was a joke. There was no way to know it was. I thought a long time before I posted. I didn't just post without carefully considering. Did you even see my apology? I don't mind a person not approving, when it merits it. But, when it is just because I defended somebody, then that's just not right. There should be an explanation accompanying a disapproval if one is going to disapprove of something that was a good intention. See, reading a post can be kind of like trying to read facial expressions.(Which in person is extremely hard for me.) With just a tone of voice and no face to go with it, it's hard to tell what a person really means a lot of the time. So, without emoticons, that can really change the meaning of a person's post. Hence, why I read it the way I did. -------------- Anyway, I'm sorry Anjin-san and everyone else for not noticing it was a joke. It isn't your fault Anjin-san.
