Need help in finding out the process after I have sold my car here in the north coast. I have all the original documents (registration, dealer's bill of sale, current stickers, etc). Also, I understand that I need to have a bill of sale agreement in Spanish with the new owners. Is there any other documents that I need to have?

Has anyone been through this process on your own, or did you use a law firm to complete the transfer? What Govt. location, any fees, as well as the time frame am I looking at to complete the transfer of ownership?

Just an idea, go to the nearest car dealer and pay them to do it for you.

Shouldn't cost much and should be headache free.

That is exactly what I did. I bought a new car and let the dealer take care of my transfer to the person that I sold my old car to.

I've done that in No America but not here yet.

I'm just buying one here now and the process seems time consuming but simple enough from what i see.

All RD processes are a bit funky, to say the least - best done by Dominicans IMO
