God, I'm regretting that this morning...

If there's one thing we're good at when we're abroad, it's knowing how to have a good time. I'm pretty sure that I did my country proud last night although there are bits that are starting to filter back into my head that might indicate I wasn't as well behaved as I first thought.

Thanks to all the guys and girls in Earls Court last night. Really made up for not being at home.

This is one of the days of the year I actually hate now that I'm working in England and creeping out of bed this morning knowing that my family and friends are already halfway through their day pulls on my heartstrings a little. Christmas was the same and my plans to be back in Australia early this year have been put on hold because of work commitments.

Guess I'm lucky to be in London though and I'm going over to Earls Court tonight, where there are more Australians that Brits anyway, and joining in with some of the festivities in the bars and clubs. No doubt it'll be one of those nights with discounted Fosters, foam boomerangs knocking glasses over and free sunblock with every drink that everybody will use to write rude words on their foreheads.

Can't wait!
