One of those was me! But yeah, I was surprised by all the singing along too.

I really love the song. I wouldn't want a whole album of songs like that from her, but I think it'll be a great addition to her next album. I hope she really belts it on the album like she's been doing live.

Out of curiosity, is the setlist for this leg the same as the last leg's with the exception of You & I?

Not quite. When I saw her in Dec. 09, she did Fashion and Paper Gangsta. Last night, she did neither of those, but she did add Glitter & Grease and Vanity. She dropped Eh Eh and acoustic Poker Face too. All the other songs were moved around within the set a lot, except Dance in the Dark is still the opener and Bad Romance is still the closer.

^ i noticed on the setlist Rolling Stone posted with their review of the first show in Boston she apparently also did Brown Eyes but must've decided to cut it last night. Telephone was obviously another great addition to the setlist since the last time she was here. that might've been my favorite of the night, along with Beautiful Dirty Rich and Monster. we were on the floor and managed to get about 5 people away from the stage...it was so much fun to be up that close.

Default New Song: You & I

It's similar to "Speechless," but I think the melody and lyrics might be a little stronger. Her vocals are fantastic! I know people aren't usually a fan of her ballads, but I'm a sucker for her big, classic-rock power ballads.

She gets REALLY into it at the end. Amazing.

(OK, second listen, this blows Speechless out of the water)

^ it's good but i still prefer Speechless at this point. i guess i'm in the minority but i've always enjoyed her ballads, especially Brown Eyes and Speechless.

(oh my gosh, what a gorgeous instrument that is)

i like the kind of wonky intervals in the vocal line, it suits her voice really well. it is kind of throw-back in its rock and roll style i find, reminds me of a lot of power ballads, as well as a bit of pop-country influence (a la shania twain? except better?)

she really fascinates me. i saw a lot of comments on the vid pitting Gaga against Stefani haha... I guess you could say she has two sides to her. She's talented, and I really like her. Can't wait to hear her next album.

I like it. It's usually not my kind of music, but I think her voice goes well with it.

(I did hate that awful sound in the background that drowned out most of the song...I'm guessing it's from one of the instuments since it didn't show up when she it was just her and the piano.)

I'm usually not big on her ballads (although Let Love Down is a guilty pleasure), but I think with the right production this could be a great song.
