Excited about new No Doubt!

More like new old Tori. Her old songs are as good as they can get. I don't want to be reminded of the terrible new versions of songs when I hear the originals. And this year is still not over! There's still new Alanis Morissette, No Doubt, The Raveonettes, Grizzly Bear, Cat Power, HK119, Julian Plenti, Bat For Lashes, MIA, Crystal Castles, How to Destroy Angels, The XX, Deerhoof and maybe even Miss Kittin and The Knife!!!

Speaking of Carson Daily... Didn't he do something very similar when he heard new music by Garbage? He got very excited over it and to be honest, Not Your Kind of People, while not a bad album, was a big let down. It's not really the return to form some were expecting. I'm keeping my expectations low for this one. The Cranberries and Garbage were enough disappointment.

I really like it, it's a perfect choice for a summer single and it's definitly catchy.

I just bought it off of iTunes US. I think I love it. The chorus is so infectious!

I wonder how the radio edit will sound since the song is over 6 minutes.

This is quite a big song, isn't it? They have an orchestral intro, dancehall & reggae flourishes, pop-rock chorus, and the bridge almost has a gospel-like quality. Pulled out all the stops would be an understatement! Curious how the radio edit will sound, but after 3 full listens - I love it. No Doubt in 2012, for sure.

I love it! It kind of drags in parts, but it looks like they're having so much fun! I really liked the nods to their past. And Gwen looks INCREDIBLE. I'm so glad No Doubt is back. I didn't realize how much I missed them until today.
