Dishonorable Mentions: Nobody Knows Me

This is apparently some kind of fan favorite, but I never understood the love for it. It sounds like Madonna at her most out-of-touch, despite the solid performance during the RIT.

sleep, I think it epitomizes everything that I found wrong with American Life. Heavy cacophony of production noises without cohesive music, hammered home by preachy lyrics that's the opposite of self-aware. In short, an unfinished piece.

I really love American Life as an album. It's probably her most personal and I think it's quite cohesive. However I can totally understand the problems most people have with it. For me though, it's quite solid.

I like AL as an album a lot as well. It just has some very high highs and some very low lows.

Even the songs that don't work for me have interesting features, though, whether in terms of the production or the vocals. I really like her vocals on this album, and I thought Mirwais was a great producer for her.

Don't like the song, it's that simple. As for Spanish Lesson...don't even remember it. If it's off Hard Candy, that would explain it. Can't rank it if I don't remember it. Basically Hard Candy was extremely easy to forget.
