Nothing big or anything, but since it's quite rare that Kate attends these kinds of things, at least so that anyone would know, I thought to post this. Unfortunately the source is only Boy George's Twitter.

No pics or anything. And the party was Elton John's husband's birthday party.

I didn't know Kate and Elton were friends. They're both outlandish, eccentric, and famous piano players, so it makes sense they'd get along. It's good to see her not being a hermit though, and maybe if we're really lucky, someone at the party will manage to talk her into a collaboration. (Hopefully not Boy George though.

)

Yes, a pic would be nice. I wonder what she looks like these days... It's been years since the last photo (the one in Q in 2007?). I have a feeling her new album will be out in '11. Yes, it's '11 or never!

That's like optimism and pessimism at the same time.

I've been searching the net and have not found a single photo from this event. Seems like a very private party or something, and that's probably the very reason Kate attended.

It was a right proper piss up - Bertie was whizzing around on a skateboard and I got completely smashed on Elton's special brew! We kept seeing some kooky red haired woman peering in through the letterbox shouting something about Mark having lost her invitation (??) so we turned the lights out until she'd gone.
