With increase in growth and the connected industrial potential, the Indian agriculture received now the industry status. The course about Agricultural and Food Development aspires to make technical graduates to answer the requirement of a technical manpower in development of cars of a farm, ground resources and water resources management, agricultural production and manufacturing of the processed food.

To satisfy to the existing requirement of agricultural productions and the food industries, the course was respectively changed to include specialized training in design, development, testing and a choice of tractors and tools of a farm, an irrigation, a drainage and the management of a watershed using Remote sensing and GLASS; information technology, processing of food, fodder and fiber, use of a biomass, by-products and a waste in production of biochemicals, fuel, fertilizer and nonconventional energy. The course provides quite sufficient flexibility to students to get examination in any of three main areas of specialization, namely, the Authorities of the Farm and the Car, the Soil and Water Development of Preservation and Food Technology.

there is a wide area for your course which you pursued. the party of hiring of MNC candidates of BTECH also pays a huge salary. THESE ARE the companies looks for skills instead of for Degree. regardless of the fact that you study, if you have correct skills what IT needs the company, they will employ, they need candidates who can work

I am planning to do my engineering from Sikkim Manipal university . How will be the job opportunities after completing my degree in SMU . All I heard that there is very less job after completing B tech degree . Is it true ?
Dear Aspirant;

SMU :- Sikkim Manipal University is the top most university of India in terms of providing distance education to the candidates. This university is recognised by the UGC and it is approved by DEC which means after completion of any degree / course from this university a candidate is eligible for applying to the posts in Central as well as State Govt. departments.

As you have not said about in which specialisation you want to do B.Tech but for your information there are various of streams available in B.Tech which provide 100% Job security for those who has passed out Graduation with a minimum of 60% aggregate. If you scored less then 60% then you will face difficulties.

Here below is the list of Govt. as well as Pvt. sector companies that recruits B.Tech candidates in their organisations / companies ;-

BSNL
DRDO
ONGC
POWER CORPORATIONS
ISRO
etc.

======

WIPRO
INFOSYS
TCS
SATYAM
MICROSOFT
etc.

Hope this above information is useful to you

With regards
