Default Breaking Bad Thread
I agree completely, it's by far the best show on TV.

Let me know when you finish 313 and we'll chat.

When you finish (spoilers), an interview with Vince Gilligan following the finale.

I understand Bayer (or some german co) invented "speed" about a century ago and helped fuel the blitzkrieg.
According to wiki the Japanese came up with it first. However:

One of the earliest uses of methamphetamine was during World War II when it was used by Allied and Axis forces.[7] The German military dispensed it under the trade name Pervitin. It was widely distributed across rank and division, from elite forces to tank crews and aircraft personnel, with many millions of tablets being distributed throughout the war.[8] From 1942 until his death in 1945, Adolf Hitler may have been given intravenous injections of methamphetamine by his personal physician Theodor Morell. It is possible that it was used to treat Hitler's speculated Parkinson's disease, or that his Parkinson-like symptoms that developed from 1940 onwards resulted from using methamphetamine.[9]

Now you have to wait until next July for s04. Late start next year.

Wow. Explain to me why that show doesn't have more fans than it does?

I find it has similarities to "Dexter" in that you are rooting for someone that does VERY bad things.
Yeah, Walt's moral argument/excuse gets pretty thin pretty fast.

The interesting thing (in both series', I guess) is that the main character realizes he is doing bad things. However, in Breaking Bad (have only seen S1 of "Dexter", so don't know if it changes), Walt tends to realize the kind of person the business is turning him into and tries to back out of it, though, with tragic results realizes it isn't that easy.
