Barack Obama: The Tiger Woods of Politics?
Yes.

Will Ferrell, as George W Bush, refers to him as "The Tiger Woods Guy".

Nominally, yes. Applying some critical thought, the analogy is extremely strained when race is taken out of it.

By the way, there have been any number of media-friendly poker superstars before this.

The only difference here is that Ivey is black.
Can you seriusly say you are suprised by this?

Also I've noticed that any black politican that gets elected anywhere except africa or Haiti seems to be refered to by at least one jurnalist as "the [Russian/French/Brazilian/Mexaican/insert nationality] Obama"

Did I say I was surprised? I mentioned that as soon as I saw the link text I was pretty sure it was Ivey.
Do you expect me to read posts on apolyton? I generally just guess what the poster is saying and type something vaguely appropriate.
