I game all the time with my fiance (wife in two weeks); i can't possibly imagine what would be "weird' about it. We play WoW together, and it is great having somebody in game right by you when you need them. But even in WoW, we aren't constantly together, but still have fun.

No, because every woman i've ever dated has been god awful at video games. Its a physical trial to have to sit there and explain the words "D-Pad" "Level" and "Jump" and how they work in games.

I genuinely don't understand how anyone can spend hours just playing a game. I can quite happily spend hours using my computer for surfing the web or watching films or working but the difference is all those activities have a useful purpose.

surfing the web: I usually learn something
watching films: I have something to talk about when I run out of conversation in the pub
working: I get paid

It's called fun. It's been around for years and doesn't necessarily achieve any end, it's just nice experiencing it for what it is.
