Default Ben Kenobi, you are a Pole
Poles are wonderful people, but sadly I'm German, not Polish.

My family left before the wars.

I'm mostly English tho. English, German, Irish and Scandinavian in that order.

I'm amazed that even one of Ben's cretinous ancestors managed to make enough money burning witches and selling indulgences for the journey to North America.

Holding up Ben as an example of any particular group is unfair to all involved.

this map is better. I've added the borders of catholic Warmia region.
Masuria = the polish-speaking protestant southern part of Prussia. Ben Kenobi comes from the southern, polish-speaking edge of it, and has a polish surname. His grandparents (or whatever) may have been Germans, but clearly of polish origin.

One from Oslo and one from Bergen, eh? Interesting. What was the surname of your ancerstors from Bergen? Vangsness. By way of Denmark, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and then Canada in the 20's.

I've edited and cropped. Ortelsburg is a German city inside a Polish predominant countryside, and is the little red dot.

The Texan knows that "WE LEARN OUR HISTORY GOOD IN AMERICA!" isn't correct.

What else do you have to say?
