I'd say it isn't better in every way. Iron is way stronger so if you're sword fighting with someone and he breaks your sword in two I'd say he has a distinct advantage.

The stronger part isn't just good for weapons. Let's assume you are making a plow share and the bronze one has to be sharpened every time you use it while the iron one can go several uses between sharpenings. Which one do you choose? Remember you have to do everything by hand. What about making tools like a hammer or an axe or nails or a shovel or a pick axe or a chisel? Iron armor will stop a lot of arrows which would go right through bronze armor while an iron bound wheel will last a lot longer then a bronze bound wheel. Iron's extra strength comes in handy in a lot of places.

Just to clarify ZK, iron and nickel are the two heaviest elements that are actually made inside a star.

If you stand on top of the Eiffel Tower on a clear day, what is the furthest place you can see with the naked eye?

Isn't Saturn farther awya than the sun?

EDIT: It appears even Jupiter is much farther away than the sun, and both Saturn and Jupiter can be seen clearly at night. But not during a clear day
