There was an initial large rolling motion that eased quickly but continued on and on and on. So I figured it was big but distant. I'm surprised to find it was smaller and closer than I thought. Apparently a building a few blocks away lost part of its facade. The floor above us lost some ceiling tiles. We have an old patched crack in our wall that opened again. Nothing major. We're pretty good at knowing what to do. I remember in the Whittier Narrows Earthquake our only fatality was a surviver of the Managua Earthquake.
