Fastest I went is 248km/h (155mph) when I let off the gas and I still had a lot of play. Traffic didn't allow me to check out my top speed. I estimate it to be between 275-285 km/h (178mph). We will see this summer.

I did a carrier catapult launch once, probably the greatest acceleration ever but I don't know what the final speed was.

180 km/h on a motorbike (on the backseat and without a helmet. I thought my ears would get ripped off...)

220 km/h on the autobahn while hitch-hiking. The ride lasted about four hours, and he covered close to 700 km http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...milies/eek.gif

But check this one out, I was a passenger on a bike that went appx the same speed, I had a helmet, except my hands were in the back! Yes, my friend decided to do some of that road, never told me, just went ZOoooom! So I never had the time to grab a hold on him. Of course he positioned himself like the master of aerodynamics, so that all the wind comes right at my chest, so as to make sure I might die.

I'm telling you, I almost punched him in the face after we stopped. I really had to calm myself not to kill him. It was so bad, I had to squeeze with all my power and I STILL wasn't sure if I was able to hold on. I kept imagining myself dropping off and rollign on the street and dying horribly for that hot 60 seconds. I seriously wanted to kill him. What a ****ing idiot. Even then he was "Oops, sorry!". No don't be sorry, BE DEAD!! Not funny. You squeeze so hard that even your eyes close. You try to lean forward SO hard you can't see anything even if your eyes were open, because oyu're staring at your own chest. And you feel how your ass is fighting not to move one inch more to the back and to your hands so to mark it as "too late, now you die". And of course it was this long but steady curve, to give me the maximum amount of horror. It really sucked, because you just think you can't hold on much longer. And the little ****er keeps accelerating more and more. You know in his mind he is high and having all this euphoria, whereas you can't even bring your hand forward to knock on his back to let them know you might drop off pretty damn soon. You can't shout, all you do is squeeeeeeze and hope for the best. It gets to the point where you know it won't be much longer until you can't hold on anymore. That's the bad moment, then you really know you actually might not make it. And the idea of rolling on the streets with that kind of speed isn't actually nice. Best case scenario? You might not actually be decapitated. Maybe.

140 mph on the German Autobahn for about 2,5 hours. On my way to Sweden for a vacation.

When you go to Sweden you don't want to waste too much time on the Autobahn, that's why.
