Tea and a cigarette. Breakfast of champions. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...milies/nod.gif

4 rashers of back bacon, 3 fried eggs, 2 rounds of fried bread, 4 slices of melted cheese, and 2 rounds of bread, along with a bottle of brown sauce and a pot of English breakfast tea.

I had porridge made with milk topped with apple and nutmeg.

I *wanted* to have scrambled eggs with maplecured bacon on top of toasted granary bread. Alas, I had none of that in the house.

I just got back from Waffle House. Sweet, delicious grease....

... In other words, are things like Menudo or machaca strictly Mexican or do other Latin Americans also eat a similar soup/foods? I don't think you would want to eat Menudo. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/sick.gif

An acquired taste but it is good once in a while especially if you squeeze the juice of half a lime, add in chopped white onion & cilantro, along with a bit of fresh salsa. Warm fresh corn tortillas are also a must.

Done properly the tripe (chopped up cow's stomach) should look kind of like a honey comb. That means it has stewed long enough for all the fat lining the stomach to melt off into the broth and the harder tissue has had time to soften up.

Today I had two bullah cakes, a banana, some dates, a mug of Dutch coffee and some grape juice.

Just some cereals and milk for me in the morning. Enough to give me a bit of energy for the morning ahead but I don't have that much of an appetite until later on.

3am and I can't sleep. Not hungary yet though eventually I'll be having oatmeal.

They fill you up nicely- you can get the ones about the size of medium cookies, and others which are a bit thicker, and darker and more like side plates in size.
