Actually, Minnesota sounds more stereotypically "Canadian" than most Canadians. That's somewhat true, but the MinnesOta O is like a prolonged hard O. The canadian O is an ooo sound (like aboot). We're also not so good at the z sound of pleurals, like "I'm from White Bear Lake, Go Bearsss". Also, we don't say "eh" that much. We say things like "Uff-da", "yaa", "so I sess to him I sess", and "ya know".
