I'm not.

While I am personally anti-abortion,
I don't believe it is government's job to delve into the privacy of a woman's womb.

No, I'm going on the aborted fetuses, death penalty, and super-soldiers cloned from the cells of dead babies march.

Maybe you all shouldn't be all that spastic about sexual education over there and also introduce universal healthcare with preservatives included... Happened over here and since then we have the lowest abortion rates of all of Europe. (To be honest, the figures are rising again but that is mainly caused by the influx of immigrants.) It's not even an item any more.

In response to the OP, I oppose abortion under almost every circumstance but I think the current pro-life movement is self-defeating. The association with fundamentalists makes it too easy to paint as a religious issue (plus I find fundies creepy), and die-hard opposition to birth control and sex ed is insane. So no.

The "pro-choice" movement in the US is a lot more extreme.. going against even small measures like the restriction on partial birth abortions.

I've just come straight from answering your stupid question in the other thread...

Surely you must be able to work it out from the context of the thread!??

Under what circumstances would you allow an abortion then? Because withholding a woman her basic human rights is frankly a fundamentalist viewpoint IMO...
