Theologians are often very different in viewpoints/etc from the majority of beleivers (both those who study seriously and those who don't). JM I think it would be hard to be a theologian and not have a different point-of-view from most believers, in the same way that most experts have different point-of-view from laymen on their subjects of expertise. But most theologians I've met, and most I read, are believers nevertheless. |
