[q=Insane guy]Don't blame the movies I see, the music I hear, the games I play or the books I read. No, they had nothing to do with this[/q]

People are probably still going to blame those things

"OMG! He played Doom!?! Let's ban the game FOREVER"

Not anymore. Pekka will soon be as popular as the name Adolf after 1945.

Right on, Spec.

I wonder how these psychos are so detail oriented. I mean, he had planned this for a good while. He posted his youtube video, that he had edited himself and everything, yesterday. Naming it Jokela Massacre with a date and everything. Got that permit for a gun, wrote manifestos, just planned everything and it took a lot of time as well, you can' tjust wing it.

So as far as people flipping out and doign somethign crazy, this dude as a cold and calculating one adn he didn't freeze up during the execution time. So.... a true psycho. It always gets me though, with the other school shootings as well... why would you kill others when you just want to kill yourself? To make the news? Is there a fantasy where you are the #1 news in many countries for a while that makes you do it?

Also, if you think you are ubermensch and you need to waste some people, why would you then kill yourself afterwards?

Stop giving these nuts the attention they desire. I won't read his "manifesto".

That's what I did.
I hesitated then decided not to read it, for the same reason.

He declares himself a social darwinist, then he shoots himself in the head? What exactly was he trying to tell us?

His manifesto is more coherent than the ramblings of that Korean guy who went on a rampage recently. It is even somewhat novel as far as motives go: he wanted to replace the existing governments with technocracies in which the smart ruled over the dumb

I don't think that he is going to start a mass movement among teens with that kind of philosophy, but you never know.
