Default DaShi is slacking
Leave DaShi alone. He's busy trying to get all the opium dens in his neighbourhood shut down.

Yeah. Those little ovens are so cute when they erupt into flames.

One thing to note, that Japanese products, especially electronics, were once considered subpar. Then they became the best. Now they're just seen as overpriced. I don't know where I'm going with this, but remember Canada sucks!

Depending on your persepctive this whole thing represents either the benefit or problem with open and free press. Free Press should be considered a problem for why?
What is the downside that I'm not seeing?

The press doesn't inform a world leader as much as the citizen. You think you know all your leader knows?

Japan had the Keiretsu, China has a bunch of bloated SOEs and a gazillion of faceless family firms. China is also far more open to foreign trade and investment. The proper example is Taiwan, which is also China, which makes it twice as properly an example.
