Death Blossom had a very short range, and left the ship unable to fight for a significant period of time.

Plus those fighters look rather expensive..

Hammerheads are great

But maybe I should have chosen the organic ships the Chigs fly

Do craft which do have a limited top speed have to compete against craft that can accelerate as long as they have fuel? missiles?

From the video games I'd agree with the Starfury being the best.

SA-32A Mitchell-Hyundyne Thunderbolt Class Starfury. As for speed...

"They travel at the speed of plot." -JMS-

I rather like the Nial, too.

Definitely the ship from Battle Beyond the Stars. It's the only ship I know with a set of tits.

I remember that movie. Head on it looks like tits, but viewed from an inferior angle it looks like a complete female reproductive system including ovaries attached to the main body by fallopian tubes. The main body viewed from that angle looked like a uterus and the tailend, I swear, looked like a vulva complete with labia. I have no idea how they managed to get that thing past the censors. I would have expected an automatic 'X' rating.

FFS none of you ever played WC: Prophecy? The Vampire is seriously underappreciated. Come back when you've steered that beast.

Wing Commander.

(I'm having problems connecting Windows-era joysticks to DOS-era games though, so it'd prolly be better to just get WC: Prophecy, which includes the overpowering Vampire)

This poll should have pics. We're not all well versed in types of spacecraft.
