Default Which British country is coolest?
"Northern Ireland, boyos!" :homer:

There goes any shred of credibility you might have had on this subject.

Northern Ireland isn't British.

Is that what Cort was laughing at? Or the "boyos" thing?

It's part of the UK, I call it British. IDK if they say "boyos" there, it just sounded more Irish than anything else I could think of just then. Maybe "Northern Ireland, the rest are bollicks" or some such? "Pass the poteen for Northern Ireland?" "I'm an Ulster-booster?"

Is Encyclopedia Britannica english, or a collective effort of all the UK?

It is my favorite thing from those islands, I always have some books of it in my bathroom to read.

btw, whats the word in english for the different books which form an encyclopedia?

edit: sorry, missed the above

Northern Ireland, a self-confident, forward looking society (with fine linens, great whiskey, and migrant Poles to keep the shipbuilding industy on life support)

Also, the De Lorean was built in Northern Ireland, so they were indispensible in the invention of time travel.

Kilts may seem girly, but I'd rather have a kilt than be one of those "chav" vermin England has. Chavs know no boundaries. They're known as Neds in Scotland. Try typing it into YouTube.

They get some bonus points for roast beef and yorkshire pudding, and for spawning some awesome bands back in the day. Points are deducted for bad teeth, ludicrous anachronistic traditions and a love of stupid-sounding words like "picadilly" and "crumpet." Accent-wise, they come out neutral, since for every elegant, refined voice they have two squawking cockney types, and those are usually the ones on the BBC. I see you will be travelling to London by tardis, arriving at some point in the distant past

scotland, for four reasons

1) Whisky
2) The Highlander movie (the original)
3) Anyone with the balls to eat haggis is pretty cool
4) Positive social policies (Cross dressing). What do scotsmen wear under their kilts anyway
