I dont buy that for one second, Coulter was using her dead son to go after John Edwards and his claim to fame as a lawyer. Lets not mix her motives with his or anyone elses. Now Ann had a good point of attack on Edwards being a lawsuit happy lawyer who used junk science to bankrupt people, including doctors. But that tends to get lost in all the hyperbole...

BTW, the call from Elizabeth Edwards was set up by Matthews...don't be getting the idea she was just motivated to call by whatever Coulter had to say. Interestingly enough,
the last really good donation day that Edwards had was when his wife announced her cancer had returned.
