This is a perfect example of why the subforums suck.

god put him in the ultimate sleeper hold [/unoriginal]

Edit: Bonus unoriginal post
God was testing Benoit by having him kill his son and he passed that test and also the wife killing test so he got to ascend to heaven.

Oh wow, some people really know how reinforce stereotypes about pro-wrestling fans...
It was just unbelievable. I want to believe somehow he didn't do it. I even constructed the scenario. The preliminary reports show that the wife dies first with contusions and burn marks and then the kid dies of suffocation and then Benoit died. I so want to believe that maybe Benoit was ironing or something ,walked towards his wife asking her about some setting or other and didn't realize it was still hot, accidnetally grazed her which made her leap backwards and fall down the stairs. Then he carried her to their room and freaked out, and his kid freaked out and locked himself in his room and buried his head in his own pillow, crying till he passed out and then suffocating from lack of air the way he was laying on the pillow. Benoit then committed suicide.

Yeah it's sports entertainment, it really needs it's own sub sub forum so all of the wrasslin' fans can smell what the Rock is cookin' without having to click past useless threads comparing ERA and YAC averages.

We need a sub-forum to help us discuss what sub-forums we need.

I for one am waiting for the Meta Forum to open before I make any comment.

The preceding was not a comment, it was only a meta-comment.

Psychotics do things that appear "premeditated" all the time.

I saw an article earlier today stating that anabolic steroids were found in his home, so it's a safe bet he was using them. Initial reports said that the wife and son died well before he did, so it's possible that he came down and began to feel remorseful. Contemplating his own suicide, the placement of Bibles beside their bodies may have occurred sometime after their deaths and might have been his way of participating in putting them to rest knowing that he would not be alive to attend their funerals once he made up his mind to hang himself.

Do you get to see WWF type wrestling in Israel? I thought that it was pretty much just an American phenomenon. WWF wrestling is more theatrics than wrestling. WWF wrestlers make great stunt men. Some day I'd like to see how they would do against real wrestlers in matches under real rules.

The thing is that there are still people out there who are in denial. The haven't come to grips with the fact that this man killed his family with his own hands before committing suicide. I don't think there is any question as to what happened.

What I mean is, it's a tough business and I think these orgs are driving these guys into premature death. Those schedules, I mean it's just inhumane. Their hearts explode at 40 usually anyway from all the steroid use, all the painkillers and it's just, and this is my opinion, irresponsible for the organizations to push such tight schedules. They should make fewer events so their athletes can recover and have healthier lifestyle. Should be high in the priority list, but somehow it isn't.

I'd be kind of surprised if he didn't juice. He seemed to really bulk up once he hit the WWE.

Well, Vince isn't a complete idiot (he did iirc push the concept of pay-per-view through before it existed), but saying anything like that on camera is hardly a smart move.

Wrestling is sort of like porn in many respects, bad acting, cheap stories (if any), and it's all larger than life if you know what I mean. There have been exceptions (Spike Dudley), but by and large people go there to see something outside othe realm of reality, it's like a circus. Vince and the WWE have a love affair with titanic behemoths (though isn't the case for all of pro wrestling), and as such size becomes very important.

A wrestler juicing is sort of like a porn star having boob implants; it's semi-mandatory. It's not that you can't make it without them, but it's a lot harder and you probably won't be as successful if you don't. At least that's my take on it.
