hi folks, it took me a whle, but i finally realized why i could not post this in the intro thread for 2011. It's now 2012 and that thread is close! But here is my question, which has little to do with intros per se. Last year , toward the end of the year, one of the moderators of the intro thread mentioned a very good lookng orthodox book. The tiltle i cannot recall exactly, but i can describe what the book was about having followed the link provided and having looked at the book. The book was on the struggle to delay gratification and chose the right goods, and the need for being able to discern among goods and how this is taught in Orthodoxy. The title was therefore something like Chosing Among the Goods (??). Anybody remember this? Is the person who posted that reanding this now and can you help? thanks much!

michael,
i eventually found the book by searching my email with a number of different key words. I, like you, looked back in 2011 and did not see it inside the monachos thread for intros. But indeed it was there in m my email and sent from that thread. anywho, this is the book. peace! http://www.myocn.net/index.php/20100...istianity.html |
