don't do that! If you plug it one that doesn't match your laptop, odds are you'll fry the motherboard.

Did you leave it at a client's? I once had to phone up a place in Sunderland where I'd left it and ask them to post it to me. Generic replacements weren't an option, and a new one from the manufacturer was £40.
