Default Ode to the flip flop.
That was free verse.

Well, go drop another 1.99 and be done with it.
If you're feeling sentimental, buy the same color.

Inflation. They want $2.99 now. The damn Chinese just don't work as cheap as they used to.

There's rumor they're even wanting lunch breaks and 12 hour days.

They're too busy trying to make enough money to feed their Chrysler. Imports rock.

I hate flip flops. But not as much as I hate the fact that Americans think it's okay to wear flip flops pretty much everywhere. Just like sweatpants. We've become a nation of ill-dressed pigs, and I'm just glad my always-sartorial-correct dad didn't live to see it.

A well-tailored suit is just as comfortable as shorts and a t-shirt. You Americans are just using comfort and an aversion to "pretension" as an excuse for your lack of class...

I would rather sit in a cinema next to someone wearing flip flops than someone wearing a smelly pair of shoes. Bacteria love the fetid atmosphere inside your shoes.

I don't care if they have odd looking feet, it is the smell that counts - and bacteria don't thrive in the open environment of a flip flop.

Flip-flops. There's a drought on you know, we Aussies only get 10 litres of water per day

ex. 5th grade. altar server training.
father mayer(68): "No thongs are allowed to be worn on the altar."
me and emily(12, 11): *looks at eachother* "oh you mean like flip-flops." *giggles*
