it's nice to see our entry is, in the best traditions of eurovision, both;

extremely camp; and
extremely bad

Man, I hate it that we can't get the British commentary. They do it right with all the jokes and laughing how bad everyone is. Because THAT IS THE POINT!!!!!!

We get all this serious 'Hmmhmh analyzing the song pretty good pretty good..'. I mean wtf? Did you see what they were wearing? This is camp, this is euro trash, this is wtf competition. You need humour, not serious attitudes.

If we were serious, these all suck so bad anyway that we'd have to kill ourselves or seek living space in the Asia.

I think this is still a good thing. It's like.. there's not a lot of things that brings Euros together and laugh or what ever. We say we are united EU or something, but when do we ever do something together? It doesn't really matter if some stuck up politicians have a cup of coffee and talk with codes. THat means nothing to us, what means is if we do things together. So, this is one of the platforms. And it's not like football or serious sports, because these don't get heated at all. People can laugh at the whole thing together.

This is why people watch this for the most part. The songs and everything in them are quite bad, but you have to look, because it's quite so bad

But this performance of Apocalyptica and circus freaks doesn't fit. This is actually pretty cool looking stuff.

what do you mean half serious?

No, it was perfect euro performance.

Serbia? Blah. Dime in a dozen. Doesn't even deserve to be recorded if it was up to me.

Pekka:

Well, the show's main merit was really that it was silly enough for people who wanted to give the middle finger to the whole contest. I don't really have much against that personally but it's just not enough to garner a victory.

Errr... being able to sing and Eurovision does not match. Thus, they might just as well look good or weird.
