Forrest Gump notices shoes.

You can tell a lot about someone by what kind of shoes they gots on. Where their going, where they've been. I bet if I remember real hard I can remember my first pair of shoes. Mama called them my magic shoes, said they'd take me anywhere.

Anyway, pretty much all Canukhs live in areas with ice-free summers. Yes, but the Canadian word for "summer" is "August."

Yeah, my last pair got really gross inside after a bit

this one I don't wear in the rain/etc... it is keeping up better, but is still probably a bit gross inside to other's feet

Jon Miller
(I also didn't replace the soles of my first pair, which is why I needed the second, this pair will last a while longer, especially because I don't wear them every day)
(I wear mine without socks)

I like your sandpaper idea, rah. You corporate drones are occasionally good for something...

Actually if I have no sandpaper handy, I used the sidewalk too.

I wear gym shoes at work, unless a client is in town.

You don't have to scuff them much with the sand paper, just enough to get through the shellack in the center of the sole. It will do it on it's own through normal wear after that.

I wear dress shoes to social functions where the ladies can notice. (of course, being married, it's not as much fun as it used to be, but it's still good not to be considered a geeky slob)

Yeah, he was on a roll for a few years getting invited to those SI events so he got his picture with quite a few of the famous swimsuit issue models. :green:

Yes, I would consider that a copy cat thread just so I could delete it.

Ewwwwww. But I guess that would be better than I haven't bought new underwear.
