Oh, hello KH. Edit : or should it MOBIUS ? If only we were all as tolerant and righteous as MOBIUS, the world would be a much better place. His unfaltering fairness on the issue of Israel is truly to be admired. It almost makes me think there must be a god to create such a perfect being as MOBIUS...almost. I will now go out and do my daily work of prancing around, and spreading the word of tolerance and political correctness. Your enlightenment has touched a heart today MOBIUS. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

NYCLU Executive Director Donna Lieberman said it was "shocking that school administrators would object to the public performance of a renowned literary work" because it contained the word "vagina."
The problem is that it's only redeeming virtue is the word "vagina." As such it is not suitable for recitation open to children. |

That is perhaps a more interesting discussion (I'd argue it depends on just how old the kids are... I could see it being just fine for junior/senior year of highschool). But having allowed it, the suspensions were utterly ridiculous. -Arrian |

I meant when it would be appropriate to perform & discuss the V.M.'s in school. I went with 11th/12th grade because I thought about it for 10 seconds and concluded that there was little reason to object at that age.
As for the term, vagina, at the very least I would expect it to come up during basic sex ed, which I would expect to happen before 11th grade. -Arrian |
