coke cola in europe and latin america tastes different, I have a conspiracy theory that euro-paternalistic-welfare-state pressed coke cola into making the beverage less "fat", and that in south america we have kept the orginal coke with all its wonderful calories.

Bottle's do not need an extra layer between it and the coke it carries to stop it reacting with its container. The same can not be said for cans.

Meh, I don't really care. But I hate big bottles and cans (50 cl) for beer though, the beer goes stale far too quickly...

I gotta go with bottles.

You just can't pull a swig from a can like you can from a bottle.

Plus cans have that little lip so you never really get all the pop out, and it gets nasty and sticky. Then you have to rturn it and get gunk all over your hands...

No, it's bottles. No question about it.

In the case of diet coke, I actually liked the greek version better. Though it was coca cola lite over there. So it wasn't exactly the same product.

Cans for soda are better for the portion control (though I drink Coke Zero, so I guess it isn't as much a problem anymore... though a 12 pack in cans fits better in a fridge).

Beer in bottles tastes so much better than cans, and perhaps that is because all the good beers are in bottles . Though tap kicks both of their asses.
