Default What do you look for in your significant other?
Someone who is communicative

is comfortable with identifying oneself as a gay man without the flamboyancy and therefore enjoying life outside the closet

is thoughtful and considerate of others

someone who is professionally successful (not measured in wealth, but whether or not he enjoys doing what he does for a living, and can live a comfortable, independent life)

someone who tries his best to be health conscious in terms of eating habits (not necessarily any strict diet) and regular physical activity of some sort

someone who is easy-going and patient with other people

And we don't like arguing - so we've had 10+ very happy years together. Such people do exist.

Falls under "other stuff"

Though if she looked like Heidi Klum or Kate Beckinsale, she can hate Harry all she wants .

hhummm:
At 26y old, I'm looking for a woman with who I would want some children with her:

She must be down to earth (VERY important)
Communicative
Responsible
She must also have some sense of artistic sensibility: (important: I love music, cinema and arts)
She must know what she want ( I don't want to think for two people.)
She must love to work, do activity, etc... (I hate lazy people)

And last but not least:
She must have strong moral principle.

I can't stand the thought of being with someone stupid or someone that has no interests or hobbies.

Also someone who is funny and cynical and we can exchange cheap shots at each other's expense with no hard feelings

That's fun IMO.

The problem is that it is hard to find women that are a) smart b) fun c) pretty d) interested in me.

I usually find only 2-3 of those qualities.

Seeing a "a, b, c" type is annoying as hell

Some of them expect to be pampered and in bed they just expect showing up with their super-hot body is enough.

Give mw the girl that is hot but without the "I'm so hot" attitude and you have a keeper
