Default Village may set N.Y. mark for snowfall

In D.C., we're looking at a big storm on Tuesday/Wednesday. Two storm fronts are meeting up, so it could be rain, a mix, or a foot or two of snow.

Bring on the snow!

Apparently, you've never been to Garrett County?

Newport News, VA. Today's high is 57 degrees and partly cloudy. On the beach.

Sweet!

Still doing nuke plant stuff?

The latest snowstorm gave them over a foot of snow.

This upstate NY thing is pretty impressive. The attitude of the locals is typical of those who live in areas with lots of lake effect weather.

I was in DC (Fairfax VA actually) last week during the cold snap. The folks on the radio were in a total panic. It was 9 degrees with some wind.

It's pretty nasty in the Midwest today. Lots of flights canceled at O'Hare.
So glad I don't commute anymore. Working at home

I'm imagine a lot of you were surprised by this weekend's weather. Especially if you listened to my forecast Friday night. I'd like to personally apologize to the former residents of [*******]. --But let's face it. No one predicted mud. What happened is that a rainstorm came down from the north, and a dust storm came out of the west. Presto: Mud.
