Woke up this morning,
Was feeling quite weird, Had flies in my beard, My toothpaste was smeared Over my window, they'd written my name, Saying, "So long, we'll see you again!" Must be those strangers Who come in the night Those saucer-shaped lights, Put people up tight Leave the green footprints That glow in the night. I hope they get home all right. ![]() Heeeeeeeeey, Mr. Spaceman, Won't you please take me along. I won't do anything wrong. Heeeeeeeeey, Mr. Spaceman, Won't you please take me along For the ride. ![]() |

so what happens if you hit a small rock at the speed of light?
I'm not expert, but I'd say the ship would be fubar'd. But how much debris is there in outer space. Voyager is still going strong. Wonder if that thing ever hit anything. It would have been destroyed I would think. As that thing is going like 40,000 miles an hour (possibly faster- I have no idea). edit: 38400 mph. I knew I was close. I remember reading that somewhere. |

If it was unidentified, how did they know it had travelled 7 million light years? Educated quess? What's the closest star? Alpha Centauri? How long did it take to get there in Civ? |
