"Thank You, but my parents insisted I shouldn't touch anything."
Great way to get nowhere in life, never, ever, EVER. You need to rebel a bit man.. just say Hey Mrs. H, as in Heroin, as in horse, the nurse, the skang, the foo foo, look at you, mom, telling me not to touch anything. My soul is burning to know, don't stop me or I'll amp you up, put you on rippers, the thrusters, the snap, the sweets, and jumpstart you to the new age of drugs, MDMA, Baby T, it's over, I'm done, I'll go crack someones head open. |

Just to be safe though, I wouldn't let him touch computers at all, even the working ones.. see where it got him now? Everything broken. I do have a magic touch. The door to our house is locked, You need a key to open them. Yet I never have difficulty opening them without the key. I just come to them and open them as if there was no lock. http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixth...ss/rconsole.htm I can't boot from cd. I haven't got the cd I installed the windows from, because it was installed in Syria when my last system broke. My mom has a XP cd for her computer and she says it can be installed on two other computers, but it doesn't seem to work this way. At least I do not get this boot from cd message. I think I'll have to go to these guys again, and while it is still working, use ghost. |

I selected "select boot"
and then cd rom. I selected to repair boot or whatever, and then c:\windows. Now it's asking me: "Are You sure You want to save a new *starting sector* (booting sector? whatever) in partition C: ? It will NOT mean I will lost everything in partition C, right? and, anyway, how can I say: yes? I tried y and enter, but that does not work |
