How you can line up for hours or even longer for something like this is beyond me.

This article leaves out all the important details. Does the guy keep his place in line, or does he forfeit it by going to the hospital?

The robbing-a-line-of-PS3 buyers makes a lot of sense though. They all probably have a decent amount of money (in general), and some probably have $300 in cash ... I see many movies being made of this in the future

Adding the space seems to have fixed it.

It took the flagship Best Buy store in Toronto here until 10am to sell out. Looks like demand isn't quite what these whackos make it out to be, considering the new figures are 200,000 in North America only.

And they say these games don't lead to violent behavior.
HA!

I stood in line for a damn Cabbage Patch Kid.
Of course no one got killed either, so that's good.

In Lexington Ky, four people waiting outside a Best Buy were hit by BB pellets, though none was seriously injured, according to WKYT, whose own reporter was hit as she interviewed buyers.

Dozens of others listing at $10,000+. No one is bidding of course. The highest bid i've seen so far is in the $4,000 range, but there are alot in the $1000 - 2500 range. Obviously, the crooks robbing people of their money going into the store were premature. They should have robbed them coming out of the store with the PS3s.
