I've always been an old school, 2 spaces guy.
BUT THAT'S WRONG!!! I'm writing for a living now and have been published in at least a dozen different magazines over the past year. In EVERY SINGLE CASE, their style guide specifies one space between sentences. this is also true for every corporate client that goes so far as to have a preference. Get used to it, gang. One space between sentences is now the norm. |

Using the Dvorak Simplified Keyboard, she has maintained 150 word/min for 50 min, 170 word/min for shorter periods of time, and has been clocked at a peak speed of 212 word/min. Blackburn, who failed her typing class in high school, first encountered the Dvorak keyboard in 1938, quickly learned to achieve very high speeds, and occasionally toured giving speed-typing demonstrations during her secretarial career. She appeared on The David Letterman Show and was deeply offended by Letterman's comedic treatment of her skill Claiming 88 wpm above the Guinness record is a little over the top. it might have just been a bug in their system because I haven't been able to beat my second best score of 150, let alone approach 300 again. At the time, it didn't seem like I had typed that fast but i type very quickly regardless so i didnt know. but the point is that I didn't cheat.
That would be so stupid to cheat on something as unimportant as this... |

I'm just a better copyer and paster then Albert is 8) You're still the better typer though ![]() I'll ressurect this thread till I've beated ya ![]() |
