Default Sent private messages
I wonder if the program could allow for us to see the messages which we have sent.

They seem to disappear after sending, and I sometimes think that I am going crazy...wondering "did I send a response or not"....

Alice,

At the bottom of your PM, there is a box titled

Additional options

Below this are the following options. It looks like you will need to click this for every sent PM.

Miscellaneous Options
Request a read receipt for this message
Save a copy of this message in your Sent Items folder.
Automatically parse links in text

Dear Paul,

Thanks so much...I was using the 'quick reply' box which does not show those options...one must click on 'go advanced'...I just tried checking the option to save a copy in sent items folder and it worked. Is there any way for it to default to that, or do I have to remember to click on that every time?

Regards,
Alice

I wish that I didn't have to click the little box every time, and that there was a way it could be saved to do it is all I meant. Sorry!

Alice, this happened to me a couple of days ago. I sent a couple of messages but they didn't appear in my "sent messages" file. I wondered whether I had actually sent them, but then I received replies to them. Strange.

I just read all the messages!!!! and realized I had not been using the new system. In the past the sent messages automatically filed themselves. Have to investigate this a little.

In your Control Panel in the "Settings & Options" sections, click on "Edit Options". In the second set of options - "Messaging & Notification" - there is a checkbox at the bottom of the "Private Messaging" section for "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default".

Glad this was brought up - I hadn't realized that my PMs were no longer getting saved by default!

In Christ,
Michael

Thanks Michael. And Chronia Polla.

"On the Feast of the Synaxis of the Holy Archangels we reflect upon the love of God revealed in the ministry of the Archangels Michael and Gabriel and all the heavenly, bodiless powers who serve as holy messengers, guardians and protectors. Archangel Michael, is known as a protector of our holy Orthodox Faith. The Archangel Gabriel serves as the messenger of God, most notably as the bearer of the Good News of the Annunciation. "

THANK YOU, dear Michael! I did this and now they default to my 'sent' box.
A very happy nameday to us both! (I was baptized Angeliki)

In Christ,
Alice
