Default New Beyblades: Nostaligic, kinda, but do you love them?
Long time no posting guys lol How's it been? So like it says here, new Beyblades. We just got them in Canada, and so far, I think they're a hit. But for me, I'm moderate. I picked up a "Storm Aquario" just to see what it's like, and if anyone remembers what the HMS Beyblades were like, it's like that. So tell me what you think! Aside from the crap anime/manga, has anyone looked into the product just for kicks?

I like it, continuing something from my childhood makes me happy because I know that the people who thought of it will probably be living in comfort.
Then again not featuring any of the original cast is kinda iffy.
I suppose it differentiates it from the beyblade of yesteryear.

I heard they're out in the states already. lol their debut was earlier than the canadian one. will post pics of my new blade(s) soon. I bought more; I miss my childhood a lot. and @ the baron, I felt that way at first, but the new cast a lil like the previous one. And they grow on you

everyone has their own opinion ^^ it's just nostalgic to see and hear about..for me at least, and yeah, I found out it's released later on in the US.. strange, because usually we're (Canadians) the last to get import stuff

lol I'm addicted; I bought a whole bunch now:

2 Storm Pegasus
3 Rock Leone
2 Storm Aquario
1 Rock Aries
1 Dark Wolf

They outlast the HMS beyblades, which were the final beyblades to be released before they were canceled i believe

---------- Post added June 9th, 2010 at 01:21 AM ----------

oh and i was wrong; canada got them right after Japan, and the US will in the fall

All I have from the old ones is a Dranzer F from the second season. I used to have the HMS Dranzer, but I dunno what happened to it.

Haha! Same! I'm glad these ones are metal now. You can actually play at full power without the attack ring getting broken lol

The new beyblades are composed of 5 parts: the facebolt (where the bit-beast used to be), the energy ring (Attack Ring), Fusion Wheel (Metal Ring), Track (Blade Base), and tip. So far, the only metal part is the fusion wheel. Everything else is HQ plastic
