most of you prob know about virgin galactic's "SpacesShipOne" and "SpaceShipTwo"

they now have a 20 year lease in new mexico.

they are building the first commercial spaceport "Spaceport America"

and the mothship for SST "WhiteKnightTwo"

is some pretty intense techie news :3

So when i'm 80; assuming the world hasn't ended by then, i'll be able to holiday on the moon?

the hanger is supposed to be finished by 2010

Nah i saw some program about the making of it and commercial space travel in general, i cannot wait.

But i don't think i'll pay just to pop into space and go back down i think i'll wait till extended travel is possible.

though tbh after you've experienced weightlessness i don't see there being all that much to do.
