I am a student at Universidad Catolica Nordestana and entered as a north american student. I recently received my dominican residency and was wondering how I could start paying in pesos as opposed to dollars?
I know that some African students and Puerto Ricans have previously accomplished this change in residency and thus tuition paying status, however that was some years ago... Today, I met with a school official who stated that the only way one can pay resident tuition is if he/she has dominican heritage, was born in the country or has citizenship. Is this correct? Thanks for any and all suggestions. |
