Default Rosacea treatment ?
Anyone have any luck here in the DR with treatment dealing with Rosacea? flareups? any doctors worth the visit?

In Panama I get a tube of stuff called TRAX. That clears it up for a couple of weeks at a time. Don0t know about in the DR. Still have mine from 18 months ago.

aloe vera works in some cases, you have to pel all the green skin off, otherwise you could stain your face purple which wouldnt help.

It only goes purple on air contact if some of the outer skin is left on

Its something easy to find here so worth giving a go

My USA doctor prescribed MetroGel 1%. Seems to work

Can't tell you about a specific doctor in Santiago but there's a product called Metroruboril Gel that can help you!
In the meantime, you should also try a cucumber mask or just putting cucumber slices on your face. Do this for at least 10 minutes every day, it really helps with the inflamation and breakouts!

In the US dermatologists remove it with a laser treatment. Should also be available in the DR if you look around.

Rosacea didn't bother WC Fields in the movies. Maybe the Dominican girls will refer to you as their "little pollodee".
