The same thing happened for about a week at the height of the Baninter debacle. ATMs all over the south were suddenly out of cash or limited withdrawals to a few hundred pesos at a time. At one point, I had to resort to going to a casino to find an ATM with cash. That tactic won't work in Jarabacoa

Default Rush On ATMs
In Jarabacoa, there has been a rush on ATMs as a result of the dollar devaluation. Are you ready for this: No Pesos are available. Many of the cajeros automaticos have been damaged now by people angry that they can't get Pesos (essentially that they can't change Dollars for Pesos).

Has this been happening at other parts of the country?
