Default Codetel Blacklisted?
I became concerned about some undeliverd mail messages.
Codetel help line confirms that all mail sent to any address at att.net from any codetel account will be blocked at their end.
The help line attendent had no explanation for this!

The same seems to apply to Road Runner, another major ISP.
Mail sent to rr.com gets blocked too.

Whats up?

It might be related to the spammers that have and are using Codetel.

They just block all IP's or IP Blocks from them.

Most spamming these days comes from offshore and the DR is fast becoming a popular launching point for spam.

A spalsh page for a casino or adult site is worth around US$10,000 monthly income for the hosts. Meaning... If you can host a page on your server and keep it up for a month, it's worth US$10,000. As you can see, still plenty of money in spamming

Wow this explains why I stopped getting emails from family and friends who use Codetel. I still get them from those using Hotmail.
