-Joseíto You're right joseíto, it's not the language. I can't believe how vulgar most of the posts have been lately, especially the posts about Haitian women. They've just been down right disrespectful and misogynistic.

I, too, wonder what makes one post appropriate and another not. I know Robert has final say, and I respect that, but some of the posts just go way overboard especially those that contain personal attacks on people because they have a difference of opinion.

I agree with Debs. Some of the comments are outright sexist and/or disrespectful to women. I resent having to endure vulgarity to be accepted in the inner circle of the DR1 "boys". And I'm no delicate flower either.

The "DR Debates" forum is handled by Pib and Hillbilly.
They have free rain to steer that anyway they want.
If you get deleted from that forum, it's their doing and
we back them 100%

When you get deleted, it's not personal and sometimes
innocent posts get chopped as well if they relate directly
to the initial deleted post.

Don't worry, I get deleted every day, usually just before I
hit the reply button responding to certain posts.

I have learn't to be semi-tactful and really don't give a
"rodents bottom" to peoples "virtual opinions" of me

There's a good example. We are having a great discussion here and that comment of americano is more offensive than Cris talking about sex. As I see it anyways. We all have different views and Thank God for that.

Rob did not delete Joseito's posts, I did, along with another one from Tony C.. I am sorry I interrupted your little repartee but it was off topic and you were insulting each other, nothing of relevance was deleted or I would have just edited the posts.

As other posters have said there is a forum for each topic. The Travel, Legal, Business, Living and Debates forums are off limits for insults. The Open forum is that, OPEN. I don't agree with most of the things that are said there, so I either skip the thread or join the fracas. The forum description are in the first page. One must know the rules of the game, the rules were set by the owners of the ball and the bat...

And don't feel bad, I guess nobody is untouchable here. I've deleted Rob's posts on ocassion and he's done likewise with mine, in none less than the Business forum
