theresa,
genius skippys here.....please take this as a friendly correction....the birthplace of Hooter's is CLEARWATER - and what about "our" Bootie's" on San Vicente De Paul - yikes........
I love Florida West Coast beaches - give them a try and a place called "Frenchy's" - tops in the grouper sandwich business. For a knowledgful Floridian - Miami is the armpit......

Oh and I forgot if you want to go somewhere besides Ybor and Hooter's Tony C., try Riverside. It's a brand new area with restaurants and bars you might like it. It's right by the the dome where the TB lightning play in downtown Tampa. You can also try Janus Landing, it's an outdoor concert venue across the bay in downtown St. Petersburg where they have music probably more your style. Downtown St. Pete also has a new bar restaurant complex.

Tampa Bay; where neon fashion and Chevy IROC's went to die.

And lived.

Comparing Tampa to Miami is like Comparing Bonao with Santo Domingo.
Been to Riverside. Ehh! Just like those Entertainment Complexs you find in most Minor League Cities!
I think the CART guys will be having an event Friday night of the GP at Janus landings. Hey with free booze I can have fun anywhere!

HEY MQ If you don't like Miami you can leave! Nobody is stoping you! And we sure won't miss you.

SKIPPYS. People from Miami say they are from Miami not Florida. We don't want to be associated with the rest of the State known as 'South Georgia"!

What cracks me up is all of the Dominicans who move to Miami an then tell everybody that they are Cuban!

Tony C.
BTW SoBe hasn't been cool in 10 years

The difference between MusicQueen and Tony C is that unlike Tony, MQ CAN survive outside of Miami and Tony couldn't. That's why Tony hates the rest of FL and there's no sense telling him about any other good cities.

Your still my favorite Cuban, Tony

Theresa:
Other places I have lived:

New York City
New Jersey
Los Angeles
Marathon
Spain
Santo Domingo
I have suvived and Thrived in all those places. Ok Maybe not NJ but then again who can thrive there.

Places I have visited are too long to list.

I always find my self comming back to Miami. South Beach and Calle Ocho are no more representative of Miami than Sosua and Punta Cana is representative of the DR.

Next time you come my way drop me a line. I will be glad to show you the real Miami. I'll even take you to a real Baseball game(U of M) after dinner at the RedFish Grill.

The BUCS did it!! They made it look easy. I still can't believe it. I am headed down there Friday, will miss the parade but Gasparilla will be extra special this year.

Superbowl games seldom live up to their expectations. That one comercial with the upside down thru his bud talking clown I found funny!

Here is what needs to be done:
Get rid of the oakland fan's stupid attire!
Retire Al Davis!
Put those fat oakland defenders on a diet!

X.

You bet! What a sore loser.
While I'm at it. Be sure you familiarize yourself with the 'Salón Honda' at the 'Dario Contreras'. Heck, by the look of that picture it seems like you have already been there.
