Default Did gas prices drop like 40 cents for everyone else too?
Last week I remember gas prices were like $4.10 for me. Went out today and saw they were $3.59. I don't think I've seen something like that happen before.

I have noticed metals have been dropping as well over the same time period, though not quite as drastic. I'm guessing that the uncertainty in Europe right now is causing a flight to the dollar, making it stronger in relation to everything else? Or is it deflation?

Dropped about 10 cents in the last week here. Running about 3.38ish for 87 octane.

But don't worry, we have a timely tropical storm for this latest oil price fall.

Good read here

Wow... it sure is a bit of good luck that the prices dropped for summer travel... oh and yea... the election! {barf}

I am so glad that Obummer is getting the economy running so well! {barf}

This is such BS!

I only wish I had a 500 gallon tank to fill .... cause I suspect that after the election the prices will sky rocket once again.

Our gas prices ar per liter. They have been up around $1.35 for a while. Now they are down to about $1.17. Still too high, imo. I don't like paying more than $0.65 per liter myself.

Those bastards were still turning profits in 1999 when gas was $0.35 per liter!

2.79 here today . this should tell everyone how good the companys around the world are doing . there using less fuel so there a over supply right now . this tell me companys are not making as much right now . just wait for a day or two till some bad news from the middle east comes out and the price will jump again ...........

That's not the way the electorate will read it.

The general economy will rebound slightly, and Obama will look golden.

Price fix is in, where's Sparky?
